Prestigious specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

He has years of experience in the profession and extensive training in different fields of the specialty, specializing in pediatric maxillofacial surgery, craniofacial malformations, cleft lip and palate, and orthognathic surgery.

Specialist in orthognathic surgery, pediatric maxillofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate, and planning and 3D printing. Since 2015 has directed the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona, specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital and furthered his training in reference centers in the United States, Europe or Asia. During that period of time he studied Dentistry at the International University of Catalonia and in 2012 he obtained the European Board of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Scholarship.

Research and teaching are two pillars in his activity, having completed two Doctoral Theses Excellent Cum Laude, developed different competitive projects, Dr. Rubio is university professor accredited by ANECA, member of different international scientific societies and President of the Catalan-Balearic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
